The South Orpington Learning Alliance (SOLA) Multi-Academy Trust of 7 primary schools located in Bromley and Croydon, is looking for an inspirational new Chair to the Board of Trustees, from April 2024.

The Chair will have the commitment, integrity and experience to guide the Trust through a period of strong development. They will lead the board to set and champion the Trust's Vision and Strategy and be passionate about delivering the very best education to all children of the Trust.

You’re likely to come from a professional background, playing a role as an ambitious and visionary leader with a track record of leading growth and change. You will probably have governance experience and you will be a strategic thinker. This role is voluntary but enormously rewarding.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity or would like a full role description, please contact the Chief Operating Officer, Nicola Diamond at Nicola.Diamond@solamat.co.uk. We would be delighted to receive any register of interests and support any dialogues or visits that would prove supportive,  and will be looking to close out applications by 30th November 2023.

The SOLA Vision:

Is for every child in a SOLA school to be included, to know that they are important and to acquire and develop the tools, character and values that will enable them to be happy, to contribute, and to thrive throughout their lives.
